SIM Card for multiple destinations
Hi,
My daughter will be travelling next year, visiting Bali, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia and Singapore. Her current provider covers Vietnam and Thailand, but at a charge of GBP5.00/day to use her plan.
Just wondering if it would be better for her to just purchase local SIM cards for each destination? I have found a bewildering array of SIM card providers that claim you can use across multiple countries, but then it transpires that they are usually missing one (or more) of the destinations!!
Any advice very gratefully received.

Yes, just pick up a local SIM in each country, they are quite cheap, avoiding the 'tourist SIM' sold at airports if you want the best deal. Having a dual-SIM phone is handy if she plans to buy a new one meanwhile.

If she is staying in each country for a reasonable length of time then local SIMs will be best. If she is passing through a number of countries with only brief stops then a Discover Global SIM might be a better deal?
