Leaving sky tv

I am moving into a flat as I'm a widow and rang to cancel my sky and was told they are charging me over £300 to exit.  Is this right

    If you're still within the minimum contract term then yes, they can charge you. Read the t&C's.

    If you have been recently widowed and your circumstances have changed due to this, it may be worth asking if there is a bereavement advisor you can speak with and go from there
