google flights is a very handy tool, then use their links to go straight to the relevant airline.

notabob said:Thanks. been trying to book on United Airlines directly and there's a problem.. It was £1,400 USD, and now I am trying to pay it's saying it is £1,680 in pounds! Unless I am being stupid then it looks like they've done the exchnage rate the wrong way i.e. added 20% not took it off.. I was expecting £1,168! Is this even possible? I can't believe I am writing this, I'm so confused.
If you are using their US site rather than UK its very likely the prices are quoted net of taxes etc which is the norm in the US but not allowed in the UK.0 -

I'm generally happy to risk it in some cases (Wizz via Krakow knowing if it's cancelled I can jump on a Ryanair flight is a prime example of this, I've done this a few times to get to places not connected to the UK directly), but in many more I'm not.
That said, Ryanair are known to be quite resilient and have multiple flights to Dublin from most UK airports daily so that may be another one I'd be willing to risk as long as there's a suitable flight between my departure and the next one that will allow time to go through security and US immigration.💙💛 💔0
