Evening,
Can anyone please help? This model TV I have has a tiny aerial socket for freeview. I need an adapter so I connect a normal aerial coaxial cable to watch freeview. Ebay and amazon are sold out and so far I've ordered 3 and there all wrong. Nobody seems to be able to advise.Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

???The aerial sockets are all standard and have been for years. If you think you need an adapter to connect an aerial you're doing something wrong.Post a picture of the connections on the back/side of the TV?2

I know what an aerial cable is thanks.
Do you think I'm stupid google the tv model and 'aerial adapter'. In the meantime I shall try and post a pick although a simple googling of my request might help. Thanks

I believe you, come across this before with super slimline TV's.Deleted_User said:I know what an aerial cable is thanks.

As per manual, contact whoever you bought it off if the cables didn't come in the box.

I looked at the manual and Skidder may be right.Neil_Jones said:???The aerial sockets are all standard and have been for years. If you think you need an adapter to connect an aerial you're doing something wrong.Post a picture of the connections on the back/side of the TV?

It looks like a non standard connector, and the TV comes with a short adapter lead.No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
As the OP mentions, the Samsung requires proprietary breakout adapters for some of it's inputs, including the RF aerial input.
I can't advise where else you can get them from other than ebay, Amazon etc as the TV is over 12 years old now.2 -
There’s an antenna adapter showing on page 4 of the manual. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0

Thank you for understanding and not throwing your toys out like some people. It was bought used and they said they lost the cable after I asked. No idea of it's name or a simple connector might do? Thanks for the illustration too. Much appreciated:)[Deleted User] said:

I'm aware of that but not easy to find. If it's that easy I wouldn't have spent hours and 3 orders later and i'm still looking for it....GDB2222 said:There’s an antenna adapter showing on page 4 of the manual.0 -

A quick Google search doesn’t help either. The TV has a scart input, so do you have anything like a recorder with a scart output and coax input? No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1
