Enstroga applied for the SoLR process and from that moment it lost its UK Energy Supply Licence. Looking at Companies House, the company is still in existence. In situations where a debt is claimed, one option is to send the company a formal Prove It letter. Further advice here:

I would be careful about using the word scam. If your Mother has not had a Final Bill, how does she know that she is owed money by Enstroga? That said, I appreciate that your only wish is to support your Mother.
