Is that a necessary comment? We all have stuff that needs cleaning and the benefit of looking at pictures that bring someone joy far outweighs running a duster over them sometimes.Ganga said:My only negative would e those photo,s ,pictures etc would be dust collectors and take some cleaning

The hallway is stunning and someone's gone to great efforts to make it so. That's all we need to talk about. Let's search for positives.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ooooh, no, not at all. That's where your feather dusters come in. Once a week, just a quick flick. Magic.Ganga said:My only negative would e those photo,s ,pictures etc would be dust collectors and take some cleaning

That looks really beautiful and the colours are lovely. That is definitely not the sort of wooden wall panelling I remember from years ago, that awful finish of goldy-coloured planks of wood on walls, eurgh! (Sometimes you could even see the nails!) But this, now this is really the bees knees.ThisIsWeird said:

During and after. 3mm ply, 9mm MDF (cut into strips by the timber merchant) and some beading. Easy to do, just take your time with the measurements and planning.

What's the wall colour in second pic? Lovely.
I think I'm going to join that there Pinterest, too.

I also thought it was some kind of mosaic tiling at first. It looks so elegant. And not at all like the awful old wooden panelling I remember was in my ex in-laws house. Not a good look. But this really is a very good look.SurreyBoy87 said:Hello, can strongly recommend real wood panelling. We got ours from audriniliving.com and they were very nice.

Edited to add : lovely light fitting too, very sophisticated. Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
