Tastecard membership cancelling page not working, no phone line and then I get charged

I tried to cancel before the expiry but there is now no phone contact number, the old one has been stopped, and the enquiry page they refer you to did not work as the drop down for reason did not have a drop down facility. Because you could not complete the field, you could not submit the enquiry and cancellation.
I have now been charged almost £40 and the response from their customer services was because I have not cancelled before the expiry date they had charged me and their was no refund but I could still use the card.
I have already explained that once upon a time the number of 50% off offers for the single diner was great now its almost non-existent. It is no longer fit for purpose.
They are in breach of their own terms and conditions. Despite telling them their web page wasn't and isn't working this was the response.

The response:
Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your reply.
We have always automatically renewed memberships to stop customers being caught without an active membership and missing out on savings. You can turn this off at any point from the day you sign up until the working day before the membership expires. You can do this online or by contacting us before the renewal date.
The membership has now renewed into its new subscription period so we are unable to offer a refund. However, as you have cancelled your membership, you will not be charged again.
I understand that you may not use the tastecard, the membership doesn't go by usage, we require a cancellation prior to the expiry date.I'm sorry I'm unable to offer you the refund you are looking for. If you would like any help getting the most out of the remainder of your membership please let me know. Other wise your membership will just expire on the 12/07/2023.
