    Second go at a defence:

    ------

The defendant parked his motorcycle on a paved area outside the metro centre shopping centre. The Defendant did not see a sign detailing any terms of parking displayed either at the entrance to the car park, nor along any part of the route that the defendant took to park the motorcycle. The Defendant was presented with no indication that he had entered into any contract before parking. The paved area had no signage or any surface markings indicating that motorcycle parking was prohibited. Upon further inspection, the signage made no mention of paved areas or parking motorcycles on them. The signage at the carpark has since been simplified seemingly indicating there was a problem discovered with it (see Exhibit A vs Exhibit B).

    ------

Shall I post the Exhibit A/B? The first picture is part of their disclosure not sure if its a legal problem posting that?

Its basically showing the signs have been updated.

    Cheers!

If this is defence stage you don't attach exhibits.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Evidence and exhibits are included at the witness statement stage, usually about two weeks before the hearing, which will probably be months away, but don't wait until the last minute before you start to work on it.

It will be fine when you send it to CCBC having attached the rest of the template defence.  It is because you typed "B)" without a space rather than B ) with a space between B and )

Thanks everyone so far! I have submitted the defence and received an acknowledgement now, waiting for the stage in the excitement! I will start taking a look at the witness statement in the mean time.

I have just received an N180 from the Paring Company's solicitors, but the court have not sent me one out yet. Should I jump the gun and try to find the blank form online or just wait for the court to send me one? Cheers! C8

Also, they have said that the client may be prepared to settle the case, I am assuming this is not a route to take?
