This relatively mild winter gone i was mostly heating downstairs living room.
Was wondering if it would be worth boring a hole through ceiling of living room that goes through bedroom floor above then put a bung in it. Then unbung it before bedtime and have it trickle out the heat overnight from below.  Maybe todays heat is affecting my thoughts and its silly idea.

We have lived here (Midlands) since 1985, there are radiators in every bedroom, I have no idea whether they work.

With our woodburner being so efficient, I was wondering  about using a fan and a piece of ducting to do something similar in our bungalow. Yes it's been hot out there, but I've not let it affect me.....much! :D

I would humbly suggest you don't try to find out now!

I think it was the news reports that affected me much more than the actual temp.

Yes, the usual fear-pron continues from tabloid TV, but we only reached 29.9c here according to the Met Office and there was a good breeze.
Anyway, at 73 I managed about 5 hours outdoors, gardening. I see that's now a cause of heart attacks as well, so doubly dangerous. Well, I'm still here, being annoying and drawing me pension! :D
