With Oak North, after I gave notice on my full amount, I then had to give notice for each amount of interest they paid each month. Do other banks do that?
Glad you pointed that...wouldn't have bothered looking at the account otherwise.  Notice on interest now given.

With the OakNorth notice accounts, if you want to give notice to withdraw your deposit(s) plus interest, you simply send them an email telling them you want to close the account.

I did this yesterday and, as far as I'm concerned, there should be nothing to stop me adding more funds in the meantime because I've given notice to close the account, not withdraw a specific amount. I may contact them to check my presumption is correct, though.

You can check out any time you like

Just spotted that MSE Top Notice accounts page says OakNorth  ... can only be managed via app ......

OakNorth web page says .... Keep track of your money and watch your earnings increase from our app or your online account.

Can anyone confirm the latter ... i.e can manage from online? Also, any need for photo-id to set up a notice account?

I've managed mine online so far, I don't have the app, and didn't need photo ID.

Thanks. Just opened a new 90 day issue 19 account at 2.12% and moved everything over from my issue 18 account at 2.02%

I can confirm what @Rudyson says - you can manage via either app or website (I have both)... and contrary to what the MSE says, I think you can open a new account with either method (though possibly using the App to open a new account is only an option cos I already have an existing account with Oaknorth)... and no photo ID needed (the app doesn't use it either).
I opened a notice account a couple of hours ago - still waiting for my £1 to appear in the account.

I opened an OakNorth notice account  last week, as a first-time OakNorth customer, with my laptop/online banking. Very quick, easy & straightforward - no onerous requirements (photo ID etc.).
