Zopa increased rates on its boosted pots to 2.15/2.20/2.35/2.55 for instant/ 7/31/95 days respectively.4

I just noticed that when I logged in. I haven’t had an email or any notification. They just put the rate up, effective immediately. I’m guessing they’ve had a lot of withdrawal notices lately. They were really starting to fall behind.Expotter said:Zopa increased rates on its boosted pots to 2.15/2.20/2.35/2.55 for instant/ 7/31/95 days respectively.0 -
If zopa had increased their rates quicker, I'm sure 2.55% would of looked attractive enough for a 3 month notice. Oaknorth and Charter offered better notice rates.
Now Santander have really mixed it up. Let's see if the notice accounts respond. I think we'll see a big base rate hike in November, which the santander account has already factored in. Not so the notice accounts, so I can see them topping 3% by mid November.3 -
Just got just got an email from BLME. They’ve increased the rate on my 90 day notice account from 2.52% to 2.75%. The account is available to new clients at an Expected profit rate of 2.75% Gross Quarterly/ 2.78% Gross AER.
So still very competitive.0 -
I have a 90 day notice saver with OakNorth.
Is it possible to request that account is closed and the balance/interest due is sent back to my connected current account?
My understanding is that I would have to:
• Request my current balance
• Wait 90 days
• Request remaining interest awarded throughout 90 day wait
• Wait another 90 days
Surely there has to be a way of just getting it al out in one go (even if I have to wait the 90 days)?0 -
If you request the account is closed, it will be closed after the notice period. The balance and accrued interest moved to your designated account at the same time. Why would you wait another 90 days for the interest?CooperSF said:I have a 90 day notice saver with OakNorth.

Also Oak North have brought out a new issue 90 day account with better rates. If you wanted to you could check if you can transfer your funds to their new account if you’re looking for a better rate. I don’t know, but it might be possible. I seem to remember somebody on here who did that.CooperSF said:I have a 90 day notice saver with OakNorth.

You can, but why would you lock your money away for 90 days for a rate that is equalled or beaten by easy access accounts?SuzzleBumpkin said:

Because you’d get a higher rate of interest during the 90 day notice period, if OakNorth do an immediate transfer of funds into a newer issue higher rate account.soulsaver said:
