Are you on a water meter, and has your usage increased?0

same usage about 1.5 units a week on a meter. We are not in debit with them Just dont want to overpay as i generally only bill myself every 6 months and i like it like that. Did not know if they are increasing their prices as 31-53pm is quite a jump and i have changed DD to 43pm but dont want to set myself up for a fall21k savings no debt0

I think I read somewhere earlier in the year no more than 4.1% increase to metered or in metered supplies.

I have noticed that AW direct debit calculations can have a bit of randomness about them which bears not a lot of relationship your overall consumption but gets recalculated every time they get a reading.
I seem to end up having a "discussion" about stupid DD increases every April way above the increase in water cost even though they've got 12 years worth of data and our annual consumption has hardly varied in all that time.. We get it sorted out usually by adding a couple of quid to take into account the annual cost increment- last April they wanted to up it by around £30 a month but it is a bit irritating to keep having to do it.
Never under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers1
