Vodafone Superfast with voucher deals

I'm trying to sitch broadband and on searching on Money Saving Expert for deals in my area am offered Vodafone Superfast 100 for £25/month with a £200 voucher deal (Amazon/Sainsbury's/M&S etc.). Deal ends 10.55 on 15th July,
https://www.moneysupermarket.com/broadband/providers/vodafone/
. I get redirected to the Vodafone site where I enter my details but get the message 'Sorry, something went wrong. We
could not complete that request. Please try again – if the problem
persists, please call us on 08080 408 408 (Home) or 08080 101 219
(Business).' I call the number given and am told that this was an issue with with whatever site redirects, that there is no issue with my address or postcode and that Vodafone could set me up on the line given but I would not get the £200 voucher as I'd be signing up over the phone. The deal is being offered on Money Saving Expert, Money Supermarket, USwitch and Compare the Market. Also called USwitch and was told that I had to sign up online or I wouldn't get the deal. When I use the Vodafone availability checker without a redrect it also doesn't work. It only succesfully works if they check but then that will be a phone sign up and invalidates any deals. Anyone else had this?

Regarding the offer, it should work via the Reseller website, so not sure what is going on there.
Are you in a Full Fibre area? That product is a FTTP product so if you are, then the whole thing should work. Unfortunately it sounds like a systems glitch on their end and if you want that particular offer, it won't work until they get that sorted themselves.0 -
I had a similar issue and used a different browser, I reviews the terms on the MSE broadband tool and it said
Important! You will receive your voucher claim email 120 days after your activation date. You will then have 90 days to claim it.
4 months before I am claim by which time I will have spent £88 with them and then have to argue if they did not apply it.
It did not show that the offer had been activated and like many similar deals if there is an issue you are 4 months down the road and it is hard to argue.
I proceeded a bit further and it said it would only guarantee 27mb so I changed to the 65mb option and that too was only 27mb. I checked with BT and it was far higher and I know I have had at least 36gb years ago.
Finally I have noticed a nasty habit of some of these Broadband companies to add a CPI inflation increase in March/April, well as this is a two year contract an increase of between 12% and 15% in 9 months and then another the same in March 24 will leave this being a very expensive deal at around £28 a month by then.
They said on the radio that prices are going to come down because of cost of living crisis as people are closing their Broadband accounts, so I am going to wait and see.0 -
Yep, Im getting the same issue, stating im trying to get Business BB ...Im not!
Ring number and they put me thro to new business .....waiting 15 minutes to be told ...yes we can sign you up but no discount .
So much for internet convenience!!0 -
MsMotivated, I've been struggling with the same problem today. I wrote about it just now on someone else's post, but as that was my first ever post, I don't know how to find it and copy and paste to here!
Basically, Vodafone will offer me the broadband at the price shown on the MSE comparison, but not the voucher. The voucher was the biggest draw for me, to be honest, so I'm not sure whether it's worth pursuing. But I've also been on the Vodafone forum pages and seen that a lot of people who have successfully signed up for a broadband package have struggled to get their voucher.0 -
I've been trying to sign up to Vodafone Supafast 2 via the giftcloud link currently posted on the MSE cheapest broadband page since Wednesday. Everytime I try to place an order I get one of two error messages. It either says my personal details are not correct or my billing address does not match the details held on my debitcard. Neither of these things are true.I have tried contacting giftcloud and recieved this response....

Hi,
Thank you for your email. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help:
- Clear the cache and cookies in your web browser
- Retry your order on a different browser
- Retry your order on a different device
As you have retried on different browsers it seems there may be an intermittent issue with Vodafone's servers and would be best to contact Vodafone directly again if you have any further issues with the site.
Giftcloud are only supplying the Gift Cards as part of this offer and so have no insight into Vodafone's website or server status.
Kind Regards,I have now tried on 3 different devices and 4 different browsers but am still getting the same errors.I've just tried ringing Vodafone and after waiting over 30 mins for someone to answer the phone the lady I spoke to said she has had lots of other people on who are having the same issues but there's nothing Vodafone can do about it, other than sign me up over the phone but then I won't be eligible for the voucher. I asked if I could rraise a complaint but she said because I'm not an existing Vodafone curstomer I can't even do that!!What's going on here. Is this some kind of scam to draw people in with the prospect of a £125 voucher that's improssible to actually get? Seeing as it's being advertised on the MSE website can one of the MSE staff look into this and find out why the website isn't allowing people to place an order?0 -
My sister had the same issue, but when she chose not to keep her number (she won't be using the landline as her phones aren't compatible with full fibre) it went through with no issues.Official SOS Club number 004 - Dry until (05.01.10)1

Just tried to switch my mum & dad to Vodafone broadband via MSE. After entering their address and landline number it comes back and says they can't port the landline number. The only button I can then click on is "Get a new landline number". Gave Voda a call, they said that because the landline is in contract with the current provider, it can't be ported, so they said I should click on the 'Get a new landline number' button, and then when the current provider cancels the contract, the number can be ported. That makes no sense, I switch my broadband at the end of every contract, and I've never had a message like this.I don't want to risk the 'new landline' button in case Voda gives them a new number. They're in their 80s, so the last thing they need is a new number, and I really don't want the hassle of trying to switch them back to their original number.Has anyone had the same problem, and did you use the 'new landline' button, and if so what happened?
