Hidendatax.com / Hidenda

Options
Hello everyone - firstly, thankyou for all your messages - rather than responding to each one, I thought to post the following which may help in response to questions received

1. Hidendatax.com and Hidenda.com are two separately registered organisations with the same director Mr Lee Mellor - If you search companies house, this can be clarified.
2. Hidendatax.com makes highly mis-leading. In particular as this company was set up in 2020/21
3. It claims to have been claiming monies back from HMRC since 2009 even though it was set up in 2021
4. It claims over 1400 Trustpilot reviews but this is for hidenda.com not hidendatax.com - many are fake / bot responses to build a trusted organisation which is highly misleading
5. Hidendatax.com like hidenda.com have a fixed line to call but the phone is not monitored and as such, you wont be able to speak to anyone

What cant you do?

The bad news is if you have digitally signed a contract, then looking at the terms, by law in England and Wales, these are enforceable so please dont ignore.

1. Digital signatories are captured holding your IP address so denying such signatures look familiar wont wash in a court of law! You could sign with an X and it wouldn't matter
2. Claims that "Your account has been hacked" - unless you can prove that, it wont wash in a county court of law
3. Claims that "Your device has been stolen" - unless you can prove this with crime reports - it wont was in a county court of law

What you could do

1. If you have received an invoice with a demand for payment which has a final payment date on it along with an N1 form and letter before court action, this cuts across all payment protocols set up by the govt in 2017. Courts dont look on this kindly from a creditors perspective and could mean they pay all the costs should it get that far
2. Contact CAB and they will forward all info onto trading standards given the misleading information on their landing page (not home page) as Hidendatax.com dont have one
3. Contact the Advertising standards authority and demonstrate their misleading claims who will be compelled to look into this
4. Contact the national debt line and they can send you an example letter of "hold action account example" - Companies are obliged to accept this.
5. Contact your local "law centre" - They offer legal advice free of charge and how to proceed.

The above might not stop legal action but it builds a profile of the type of activities and intimidation this company uses and the more enforcement and standards agencies become aware of this type of activity - the more they can put a stop to it

Finally, this company doesnt appear to be trading from their quoted address as new tenants are moving in according to the landlords (dated 5/07-2022) and is currently empty. They have minimal staff (other than the director) and its easy money, whilst the contract signed is legal, many loose out and in some instances, havent received any tax refunds if they are owed by HMRC.

The lesson for those using claims / tax management companies - Its cheaper and easy to do it directly!
