One of the biggest advantages of doing it yourself is it's usually the only time you get up front and close to your bodywork to see if there's been any unexplained damage.

Am I the only one who sees the title of this thread and thinks of John Travolta pining for ONJ's Sandy?

You might not ever get rich
But let me tell ya it's better than diggin' a ditch
There ain't no tellin' who you might meet

Why wouldn't you wash your own car?

Possibly, I was thinking of Richard Pryor and The Pointer Sisters.....
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

If I lived on the 12th floor of Nelson Mandella towers maybe.

And please, a sponge is for the wheels, a microfibre wash mitt for the bodywork.

It would need to be a big lift to get the car in to take to the 12th floor to wash the car in the shower... ;)
