Can you clarify your last post please?

Are you saying that DWT have actually come through with the tickets that you originally booked with them, and that you are now going to cancel and reclaim for the backup contingency tickets that you booked yourself direct with Emirates?

If DWT have actually supplied the tickets that they agreed to supply to you at the price that was agreed, then there is no point at all in you contemplating suing them in the small claims court for anything, as you have suffered no quantifiable losses that could be attributed to them.  They have fulfilled their part of the contract.

(NB - if DWT had not come through with the tickets. then I think - contrary to some other posters - that you would have been entitled to sue them for the price you paid to them PLUS the extra additional cost of buying backup tickets from Emirates.  But whether you'd have been able to enforce judgment is another matter... )

Yes tickets came through. What I learnt yesterday is, airlines by default will cancel latest set of tickets if duplicates are booked. Bit bizarre since both are fully paid for, but I kind of understand the logic. So I cancelled my booked tickets which were booked paying 2k more. If not Emirates would have cancelled DWT booked tickets.

Read the trust pilot reviews. This company has wrecked people’s lives.

I don’t really care if I lose, but if I win, then I will set template for others who are literally begging for the tickets they paid for. Some have spent over 15 hrs just being held on phone trying to speak to this firm.

My contemplation is based on hours I spent on phone to speak to them. The 5k which I had to pay and loss of interest as refund from emirates will take up to 4 weeks.

Again just contemplating. I am not really fixated with claim amount, it’s the principles of it. I have requested other members on FB member page to coordinate in similar manner. There is one customer there who has not been refunded for over 2 years.

it’s obvious trading standards, airlines, travel aggregators and CAA have turned blind eye towards this firm. I think that is having no regard to consumer interests.

Also read Times travel columnist’s article on this firm in 2016 who had exactly same experience. So these crooks have been operating without any fear of consequence.
What exactly are you planning to sue them for? Delivering the tickets that you ordered from them?
  • To update and finally have some closure. Legal team did find weak links in terms and conditions which opened scope for liability and opportunity to claim compensation and damages.

This was based on concrete evidence from Emirates that money was never transacted and a ticket will not be issued or was ever issued.

A lovely letter with extra xx fired via email lunch time on 5th July and hard copy with special signed for delivery sent to only director listed on company House.

7th July while I was having giggles about Larry the cat from downing Street, email pings through with confirmed e-tickets. Emirates confirmed money came through yesterday.

I am still contemplating on pursuing small sum court for waste of my time. I will donate the money for a place at London Marathon if I win. If I lose well I can have my Jerry Maguire day in chamber.
Hi, I wonder if you’d be happy to share your letter and email address you sent to at all? I’m in the same situation and getting extremely worried.
Equally feeling silly for not checking trust pilot etc before booking.
    Thanks
