DCB legal - Letter of claim

No problem, this was just a preliminary draft. Subsequent iterations of my complaint shall be meticulously prepared, in view of the profound outrage and pervasive sense of injustice which has been inflicted upon us over the past six years. Despite providing irrefutable evidence of lawful parking and possessing a valid permit, we were subjected to a relentless barrage of harassing debt letters by UKPC, which showed a conspicuous lack of respect for the grieving process following the loss of my father. The sudden discontinuation of proceedings, without sufficient explanation or any form of restitution, has only exacerbated this palpable sense of affront. I am convinced that such a cavalier disregard for legal process should not go unpunished, and it is my intention to pursue all avenues available to me in order to hold UKPC accountable for their actions.KeithP said:That letter looks good.
I think I would spell out UKPC - UK Parking Control Ltd - the first time I used it.3 -
Yay!
Very good news! Discontinuance = a win.
ANOTHER UKPC ONE BITES THE DUST!
Well done for winning. Glad to hear that for you this is not over and you intend to pursue all avenues available in order to hold UKPC accountable for their actions. Here you go, this step is VERY important:
We need you - as a genuine PPC victim of aggression, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt to add £70 - to respond robustly to the Public Consultation on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:

And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens - anticipated in a month or so.
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers!
You have a personal story to tell about the culture of getting a roboclaim 'legal' firm to add a pointless £70 for their own profit, to be let loose to intimidate people. I am sure you want your voice heard to stop this happening again.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

If you correctly ask your MP to report DCBL to SRA, they will just come back with "we wos only followin' orders guv" or "we were carrying out the instructions of our client!"B789 said:Also, I don't think the SRA will be interested in UKPC as they are regulators of solicitors. You would request that DCB Legal are reported as they are the representatives to the claimants. We suspect that they have "purchased" a whole load of old, unpaid PCNs with the promise to the claimant that they will initiate the claims and receive a payment for any that they win. Most likely on a no-win no-fee basis.2 -
I have had a response back from my local MP as follows:
Thank you for your email.
These parking enforcement companies feel they can bully people, and it is wrong.
I will certainly feed this back to ministers, I have a feeling that the Law in this matter is being looked into for the very reasons you have stated.

Let's hope that ministers are investigating this matter. Right now, the county court system is being used and abused with such a cheap cost of £25/£35 ?helpadviseneeded said:I have had a response back from my local MP as follows:
