It happens, we are only human.Things are a whole lot different now than when you were a lad! Serious sh*t happens these days in the world of private parking!
Years ago my solicitor send me the details of two other people when I was wrongly accused of causing an accident, I was 18 at the time. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

DisruptiveLad said:I wrote to Davies in his capacity at the IPC, not his solicitor's firm. So there may be a breach there alright.
John Davies and another called Will Hurley both of Gladstones set up the IPC and IAS
The IAS being the so called independent appeals service for IPC members.
BUT as we know, the IAS decline about 94% of aqppeals and then, and you could not make this up (government were fooled though)
THEN along comes Gladstones to sue the motorist ? WHAT A SCAM?
When the Parking Prankster exposed the scam, Hurley went to the IPC and Davies remained as Gladstones and the scam was split
Gladstones were recenly fined by the SRA for misleading finances
Handling data correctly is a legal requirement and the question must be how much more of this has Gladstones been involved with
This is not just for the ICO, the SRA SHOULD GET INVOLVED AGAIN2 -
Yes, I fully intend to involve them.0

They sent this to the wrong person! i.e. I think they might regret this...
You definitely need to complain to the ICO that your data was only ever provided to the IPC in a complaint about VCS. How the hell did that data get (apparently) held, stored and re-used so that it was transferred to another case?
BUT to complain to the ICO you MUST have firstly complained to the company about the issue (Gladstones) and ask where they got your address from?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
