Carphone Warehouse/Currys mobile phone contracts

Hi, I bought a contract phone with the above on the 19/6/22. I didn't see the phone as it had to be ordered in, the sales person could only tell me the specs as was online but the deal through Vodafone was good, so I went forward with it. After looking at tech reviews I discovered, the camera wasn't great..which is important to me. The following day, I went back to the shop to cancel the contract, only to be told as it had been ordered in store I couldn't cancel it, all they could do was offer another phone on the same contract, which turned out to be olde and not a great camera either. My complaint is that if I had stood next to the sales guy and ordered it off my phone, got it delivered to the store, I would've been able to get out of the contract because it was ordered blind. This is totally unfair as the phone was ordered blindly even though it wasn't me who ordered it. I can understand if I had been shown the phone etc. then decided I didn't want it, then they're T&C's would hold up. Trying to raise the issue and to get it amended to protect this situation with their head office has become impossible.  Has anyone else had this problem? It seems to be just with Vodafone. I have phoned them but they say the only give CW contracts to sell and it's their problem. I'm going from pillar to post!
