Morning everyone
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Now light, dry underfoot but cloudy. Wash load ready to peg out.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was gammon, egg, new pots and beans. Tonight will be sorted when I do the food shop this morning.
I have normal jobs to do.
Keeps and well x

Morning folks, thanks for starting us off nmlc. July already, it's scary!Half an hour ago there was a band of mist over the sea and 10 swallows sitting on the telephone wire, now all gone. The sun may be on the way here.Despite the forecast yesterday afternoon turned glorious in the late afternoon so I sat in the garden listening to the final hour of an audiobook. My morning trip to return unwanted goods was successful. My newly cleared guest bed is now becoming the home for all the things to pack for my holiday in seven weeks time. 😂
Apart from my usual phone call from Australia this morning I have no plans. I don't have enough washing to justify putting the machine on, seems a waste of a sunny day.Camelot - have a good journey and enjoy being with the family.Happy Friday to all.14 -
Morning folks and thanks NMLC. It's not looking too promising out there. Fine at the minute but rain due later. We had a torrential downpour yesterday evening, preceded by a strange looking yellow sky. I think the pots and garden have had enough rain for now! There was a photo on one of the local sites of one of the main roads along the valley bottom, it was well and truly flooded.
I was scalped yesterday, hairdresser got a bit carried away. Oh well it will soon grow I suppose! My Tes*o delivery was all p & c but sadly I think someone had been playing football with my eggs! What a mess in the bottom of the crate and surrounding groceries! He apologised and asked me to bin them and then requested a refund. I managed to salvage 2 of them but the rest were a broken mess! So something to add to my little list for town in the morning!
I have the excitement of the Friday Tidy today, with a dust and vac up and down and all around, then no doubt more tennis watching this afternoon! I've got my last chilli portion out for tea and also a pack of mince to make a new batch so will get that on the go first job.
Have a lovely day if you can folks and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, poorly loved ones and MIA. CAMELOT safe journey and have a lovely holiday with your family. Take care one and all and be safe. xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"13 -
Morning All
Not looking great out this morning, overcast skies and a very damp feel, hoping for some sunshine when I get to the NL, thanks for the good wishes. The flight isn't until late afternoon so plenty of time to get organised. I'm taking a neighbour's DD to work in a while then I'll take their dog for a walk as they have left for a holiday to Spain this morning.
Yesterday's washing has been finished off in the TD again, it really hasn't stopped raining long enough to put anything out although it was glorious from about 7pm last night. The only thing not dried is the quilt cover but that can hang over the bannister.
Hoping your new client is a good match Ruby.
What a mess TA. Glad you're getting a refund.
Good luck Nelski, it's always a tough thing to do, I felt the same when my Dad went into care.
Love that you're getting organised already Gers!
I always think of the lovely Dumpling when it's the first of the month.
Thinking of the absentees and the poorlies, take care. XX

Morning all,
Stealing myself for the weekend ahead with DMum and DSis. I have some food to pack up and take with us plus need to throw a few things in my case. Weather for tomorrow looks wet so will pack accordingly! We are eating at a pub tonight and I've already checked the menu as want to keep up with the healthy eating whilst I'm away.
Spare room decorating now completely finished and we moved the furniture back last night. We have lots of pictures that need to go on the walls so will do that next week when I'm around as don't trust DH with colour combos (he's very colour blind).
Lovely baby news snoozer - a pigeon pair for L & B!
Safe travels camelot x I too have been thinking of Dumpling lately, especially when knitting. 6 months already I think?
Have a good day all.

Good morning all, a quick hello from Clitheroe, we have fallen in love with it, but decided too old to relocate lol. Very mixed weather, but mostly lovely day yesterday which we spent part of mooching along the beautiful Trough of Bowland.
Hugs and spoons to all, moving to Lake District today, no internet for the next few days and useless at using phone for it.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)13 -
Hi everyone,
Maddie, I didn't know you were going to Clitheroe, there is a fantastic Pub at Newton by Bowland, the Parkers Arms, they do lovely food and have featured on programmes like the Hairy Bikers.
Thanks for the good wishes, as I said, we're trying not to be too gung ho, we know several people who were told they were having a girl and had a boy.
L, B and E are off to Italy today, I was getting very stressed by their lack of prep last night. I have always been stressed by holiday preparation although I have been much more chilled of late but they were really disorganised.
Crystal had a scan as well yesterday and everything seems fine, apparently with a good head of hair!
Have a good day.12 -
Morning
Its the dreaded hair cut day today. First time since Dec 2019! Its a wild mess so needs sorting. I lost a lot of hair so its fine and patchy (very attractive eh!) Poor girl has her work cut out getting a style out of this. Need a passport photo so hopefully she can can get it so that people won't laugh for 10 years coming!
Nothing else planned today so once Im back home I will do the usual kitchen stuff and finish off a meat and potato pie for later
snoozer great baby news!

Morning all
Nice day here so I have stripped the beds and got the bedding on a hot wash, it can be hung out on the line and OH can re-make them later.
I am off to Matalan this morning to look for a suitcase, one of ours got ripped on our last trip and needs replacing, mind you it must be 20 years old so its done its time.
Something with mince for dinner maybe a spag bol, still stuck on the same weightbut I will keep doing, four weeks till our holiday so still time to lose a bit more.
Throat is still sore but has got no worse thank goodness
Camelot have a lovely time with your family xxxx
Nels good luck with the haircut, I hate the hairdresser too with a passion ! xxx
Have good days all xxx

Morning all, I'm up early this morning but I felt like I'd had enough sleep, normally I don't wake up till about 9am. Yesterday the weather took a turn for the better, very warm and some sunshine, so I pottered about in the garden dead heading plants and weeding.
At the moment it's overcast and it's just started to rain, only light stuff but enough to get you wet. No visiting town again today as we have another delivery, a calorie counting book as Mr Fix It has joined me in trying to lose weight after all my nagging. It's much easier when both of you are not eating cakes and biscuits ( my downfall as I have a sweet tooth ) because I won't have to buy them for a start ! Today my plan is to dust and hoover my way through downstairs.
Hope everyone has a good Friday
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need

Morning everyone
Raining quite heavily - I think the plants have had enough to drink now - it's forecast to be better over the weekend. Yesterday alternated between warm sunshine and heavy downpours.
Snoozer - lovely news. I never wanted to know with either of my two girls. though I assumed they were girls - don't know why!
Camelot - enjoy your holiday
Maddie - enjoy your trip to the Lake district
Nelski - good luck with your hair cut
Coxy - where are you going to?
Gers - I like your organisation - you must be excited for your trip
Well, I'd better move myself. I need to go down and do dads banking this morning. Then work at lunchtime. Little one will be here for tea and Friday sleepover - hot dogs have been requested.
Have a good day everyone x12
