Morning. Rubbish sleep, woken up by cramps so I had to walk those off, came downstairs, had a cup of tea, then fell asleep on sofa for half an hour. Did my Friday tidy yeaterday although it was more like an every day of the week tidy, at least I don't have to do that again for a bit. I will play in the front garden today, the only appointment is waiting for a phone call at one ish so I am free to indulge myself and after indulging myself pretty much all week as far as eating too much and the wrong things, more excercise is not going to go amiss. Weather permitting obviously.TA, it'll soon grow...Nels, good luck today. No consolation but in my paspport photo I look like a fat serial killer. camelot, enjoy your holiday! Coxy, good luck to you too! Maddie, enjoy! snoozer, you did your best, maybe they'll learn from it
Izzy, nice to see you haven't got a oo tiring day for a change
Look after yourselves folks...

On Wednesday I forgot about asking for my blood test results so I phoned for them today - everything 'within normal ranges' and 'no action required'.
I'm so pleased with that.
I've roasted some beetroot and then got on vinyl gloves to peel them, what a messy job. They were so lovely and soft that even holding them made indentations in them. Now there are in the fridge ready for my lunch tomorrow. This is the first time I've bought fresh beetroot so am looking forward to enjoying them.Early morning rain has moved away though the sun hasn't come back to replace it, no wind at all. I've also filled up the bird feeders.6
