At the 4th attempt got to talk to someone human ! At first he said I hadn't been eligible for the offer. However ,when I asked why ,he put me on hold to consult!brewerdave said:

Came back just now ,to say that I had been eligible after all but said it was only £100 . Queried that but as I never had the email (didn't tell him that) couldn't throw that back at him. He has said that I will get the credit - have to wait and see what transpires now !!1 -

hi, many thanks for all your advice. finally got some joy after phone call # 4 , i had also submitted a complaint by email so not sure if it a coincidence. anyway now credited .
