I’ve just had a text message from TraceAlerts telling me I’ve been in close contact with someone who’s got Omnicrom and to get a PCR test. Is this a scam as I thought test and trace had ended? Thanks.

Yes it is a scam - even if you had the app - Test and Trace contact tracing ceased on 24th Feb .

I suggest  that you report the scam to your provider : 

• reduce the amount of scam texts you receive
• make yourself a harder target for scammers
• protect others from cyber crime online

If you forward the text to 7726, your provider can investigate the origin of the text and arrange to block or ban the sender.
