Choosing new internal doors

I'm looking to replace all the internal doors in my house, and am doing some preliminary research. I'm finding that all the suppliers seem to have the same doors, which is a bit disappointing as there are many I don't like at all.
Laminate doors seem to be a new option since I last looked at doors many years ago.
Does anyone have these, or have views on them? Would I be better to stick with oak doors? Is there a preferred door manufacturer?

Not an answer to your question, but a caution when buying doors. If you are considering having knobs rather than clothes-catching handles, then you need to have doors that allow them to be mounted well back from the edge. Many doors don't, and you will get scraped knuckles if the knob is not positioned correctly.2

I can't fault the Howdens Oak veneer doors, they are on sale again at about £60 +VAT, which is quite a bargain I think I paid similar 4 years ago (from Travis Perkins but they seem to be the same), but since then inflation has gone mad, the price of the cardboard doors has doubled, yet the oak ones are still the same price!1

Depends on budget etc.
If it was me I'd get solid oak doors, broadleaf are a company I've used before and the quality of doors and flooring is outstanding.
Then again it's the difference between £80-100 a door and £250-300 a door.0 -
Also got Howdens doors in the entire place just recently and overall v satisfied with them0

A lot of Howdens fans here! Any other comments or recommendations? Thanks.0

I went for fancy handles in our house and just have painted fire door blanks - fire doors because they're a decent weight. They're painted black so that's statement enough.Don't scrimp on the weight of the doors. Nothing worse than a flimsy moulded developer door that just flaps about. In period houses I'm insistent on doors that match the correct period. I hate modern and wrong period doors in period houses.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Looking at the estate agent photos, every single door had been hung upside down - The giveaway was the taller rail was at the top.Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.2 -

Could I be nosey and ask how much you spent on your door handles? There seems to be a huge range available at vastly different prices and me and the wife seem to have different opinions on what's reasonable to spend!1 -
