    It’s a good challenge day!!!

Firstly, Thor was a bit rubbish. It’s gone too far down the comedic route now.

Secondly, I’ve had 3 challenge sales. My niece’s Ben 10 figures sold for £7 on Vinted, so I’ll have at least £7 to spend at the car boot tomorrow for her.

I’ve sold the Filofax I got yesterday and the foot circulation thing I initially got for 50p. So my balance is now £32.26 with 5 items still to sell. I’ll get some stuff from the car boot tomorrow and will concentrate on getting things I hope will sell quickly so I can boost that total a bit more.

My niece’s fund has had a last minute boost. On the way home, we came across a sign on a driveway saying everything was free and to take whatever we wanted. I took a few toys and listed them on Vinted with the intention of putting it towards the iPad fund, and 2 things have already sold for £7 between them. So her fund now sits at £14. Can get a lot of good stuff at the car boot with that 😁

    Evening

Sorry I haven't posted for a while. Been really busy.

So an update, I've lost my way with my challenges a bit. One good thing is that my niece ordered her iPad today. I basically scrapped the money I was saving for her, bought 3 Duplo bundles (£30, £20 and £5) and sent her the profit each time I sold something. So I've still got bits to sell, but we managed to get enough for the iPad between us - I think I contributed around £100 in the end. Will obviously have to do this again for my nephew at some point when he's saving for something - I don't play favourites!!

I might start my £1 challenge again. I lost track of what I had got etc, and got mixed up with my niece's challenge too. I need to be more thorough with it and keep proper notes so I don't get confused. I'll start it again next week.

In terms of my oxygen loan, I didn't quite get down to £500, but I only owe £675 now. I'm going to pay £225 off it for the next 3 weeks and then that's one debt down. Stay tuned, because the next debt is a BIG one!!

So, goals for August, which I will try to stick to and update every day!!

    1. List 10 items on eBay and 5 items on Vinted every day (make a list of the eBay items each day before and pick 5 slow selling items for Vinted)

    2. Pay off Oxygen loan

    3. Research and download around 5-10 apps that I can use in my idle time to earn cash or vouchers instead of playing games (eg, hospital appointments, doing my nebulisers, waiting around).

    4. Start the £1 challenge again and keep proper notes so I don't get confused again

    5. Put aside some time each day to keep on top of the house work

    6. Declutter some personal items, either by donating or selling (my wardrobe is a mess!!) - 100 items in August

Will see how I get on with those. Might even start off early, seeing as it's nearly August.

  • Hi  Emz!

I found your diary and then didn't book mark so only just found it again.

I love the £1 to 10,000 idea. That is really clever. really good to read your diary again :) XXX
