Conversions are more work but not £3500 worth. That being said, I don’t give breakdowns. I can if you pay for the time.I don’t believe anyone goes into a supermarket or restaurant and asks for a breakdown of their costs of how they arrived at their price. An Ideal Logic with a 10 year warranty is a Logic Max….this comes with a filter in the box.A flush must be carried out. Is the quote a full power flush? This doesn’t have to be done but a flush to British Standard must.1

We had a Logic Max Combi C35 installed last year under similar circumstances. No Hive system (just the wireless programmable thermostat) or future servicing included. Local installer (Ideal accredited). Total cost was just under £4K including VAT and we have the 10 year warranty.Only thing I would say at switching from a hot water tank to a combi is look closely at the hot water flow. It takes forever for hot water to reach our kitchen sink as it goes from the boiler (in the attached nearby garage) upstairs to where the tank used to be then downstairs again, so a lot of pipework to be heated up and cold water to be flushed through before any hot water reaches the sink!
