Ok these are all from the curry's website, in different price ranges, note the £500-800 one I would expect to last 7 years minimum.
Yes these are all in one fridge freezers, yes they come in different sizes which are not factored into it.
But what surprises me is the cheapest one @ £200 or the Hisense one (which gussles energy) @ £500, once you factor in the price of the unit and the running cost's, worst case scenario your £80 worse off after 5 Year's at today's price cap of 28p.

This one's for FF up to £800 which if I was spending that much money I would expect to last 7 year's.

I very recently bought a new fridge-freezer to replace a 6 year old one that was uneconomic to repair (compressor needed replacing). In terms of energy ratings note that the freezer volume it is a major factor, and beyond that differences weren't big at all. The most efficient cost a lot more for very modest energy savings that would never recover the purchase cost difference.

Most efficient on curry's up to £800 is the bosch KGE49 rated "C" at £769.. Which claims to use 175 units a year or £49 a year.
Again what surprises me is over the life of the appliance, there is not that much in savings in it, so may as well just buy whatever you like the look of even better if it's on a good deal.

Do they really save you money over the lifetime of the appliance? If the price per unit stays the same as it is capped at today 28p?
    Yes, definitely.
One appliance might use 100kWh/yr, another might use 300kWh/yr. The difference is worth £56/yr at current prices. If prices continue at this level, and your applinace lasts 10+ years, that's a cost difference of more than £500.
True but if you ignore the £769 Bosch which apparently uses 175 kWh a year. The rest come in 211-329 (if you discard the logik American style one). £165 difference over 5 year's

Efficiency isn't really the right term there, but rather energy consumption. I say this as the reason it uses less energy than other fridge-freezers is that it has a very large fridge section and a small freezer section (for it's overall size). This is what I referred to above when I said that freezer size was a dominant factor. Start comparing models with the same fridge and freezer volumes and you'll find the differences in energy use are small.

Edit: actually the freezer volume is larger than I'd first thought and there is a decent efficiency improvement there too.

Our now Grade F integrated fridge freezer uses 23p a day. Not unhappy with that for keeping all our food nice and fresh for longer.

When I was looking for fridge-freezers for myself I was limited to those up to 55 cm wide and 175 cm high, and for these there was little variation in efficiency. Interestingly, going to freezers up to 200 cm tall and 70 cm wide and there is far more variability, with examples like the Bosch mentioned above that use less energy than the F rated Candy I bought despite having larger storage capacity. Possibly the extra size allows for more insulation? Or perhaps greater scope for air flow helps? Not what I was expecting interesting to note.
