Data roaming in South America
Lots of South American operators offer unlimited WhatsApp/Spotify/Facebook/YouTube with their contracts and it appears that it is valid with roaming SIMS too.
When Lebara UK roams (on Claro) I can confirm that there are no charges for WhatsApp messages and also that Google location sharing works.
As far as I know, only a PAYG SIM from Three gives (full) free roaming in most of South America

Interesting, I guess the setup for free WhatsApp etc applies to any SIM running on their network. In East Asia such allowances are common, but I always used a local SIM for data and never checked if the allowances applied to a roaming SIM.Welcome to the forum.!Evolution, not revolution0
