Stroke entitlement

Hello guys.
I'm after some information regarding my wife's recent health change.
She has recently had a stroke and can't work or drive for the foreseeable future due to being incapacitated in her movement.
She does not claim nothing at all in benifits..
Before this happened she has claimed for (pip) and In the process of a tribunal.
She has fibromyalgia and been declined twice..
My wage is £26000p,a and pay for everything
Rent
Council tax
Shopping
Water&gas e.t.c

Are we entitled to any financial help from the government.

Kind regards
Tony

You posted the same question last month. You can see the advice here, which still applies. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6358546/what-is-my-wife-entitled-to#latest

Put your details into a benefits calculator and see what results you get
    https://benefits-calculator.turn2us.org.uk
    https://www.entitledto.co.uk/

When doing the calculation assume that your wife has been found to have LCWRA. If there is some UC entitlement with the LCWRA included then you should apply. Your wife will then have a Work Capability Assessment and if found to have LCWRA will get that element included from the fourth month.

Did your wife apply for NS- ESA as advised in your last thread, on the basis that...

....I told my wife last year to pack her job in because it was a heavy lifting job.

    If not - why not
If she did - has the application been accepted  ?

Alice Holt Forest situated some 4 miles south of Farnham forms the most northerly gateway to the South Downs National Park.

Thanks poppy, I overlooked that this has all been covered before.
I don't understand why people come back and ask the same question.

Me either and it's been more than a month since they posted the last thread. If no benefits have been claimed in that time, why not?

The only things I can think of is they may simply be so busy they forget they've posted, or perhaps people can't work out how to find their thread again, particularly if they are busy and don't come back until the thread has disappeared off the front page.

[For this poster specifically, their wife having a stroke since their last thread might qualify as 'being busy'!]

I know it can be a bit frustrating but if people have asked the same question previously it is simple enough for any of us regulars to link to the previous advice if the answer is unchanged :)
You are right - my earlier reply was possibly a bit harsh. (Your last paragraph relies on noticing that it's a returning poster with the same question.)

Indeed, and I didn't notice at first either.  But usually one or other of us will pick up on it, recalling something at very similar previously asked and going to check.
