Virgin money credit card not received

UI have been waiting 10 days, was accepted on the 13th June, i received a email the net day with the limit and the following day another email saying to get ready for the card. I havent received it yet. Has anybody else had to wait up to and more than 10 days for it.  I am going away next Friday it would be nice if it arrived before then. Thank you

Others will have waited that long but that's not important.

Call them to see when it was despatched in case a replacement is needed.

If you haven't had the PIN, it's probably still in production.

I seem to remember that mine came in around ten days - possibly towards two weeks...

Yeah i hope it does arrive in the next couple of days, don't really want them to have to wait another 10 days if i have to contact them to send out a new one.

I think I would contact them and ask where it is.

Not so long ago, my friend had her credit card intercepted by a fraudster who bought many things online to the value of £2k. She didn't know until she chased it.

All they needed to purchase items was the card number, expiry date, three digits on the back, and a name. I have a Virgin card and the information is all there for the taking. It didn't take as long as ten days to arrive.

Not all companies have a safety two-step verification system so better to be safe than sorry.

The card will take time to be produced and also a pin number sent out in a separate envelope ,probably takes about 2 weeks so not really a bad start from them ,if you needed the card that urgently you should have applied earlier so technically not a good start from you.

Ganga they do the pin on the app, but i need the card to access the app. I rang them and they said wait till tomm and if not received then they will try and send it in one working day.

I do think that a ‘virtual’ temporary card should be issued the moment you’re accepted and registered/logged in to the CC providers app prior to physical card turning up. That way, if you need to spend straight away, you can :)
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

  • I had this happen with MBNA they said the cards are sent second class post, took 14-15 days to arrive
