CHASE savings account

After much discussion by ML .... started application for a CHASE account to be eligible for CHASE savings account.
You get message you are waiting in the lounge - you will get a text inviting you to proceed .... and that wait will be 3 to 5 weeks.

In the meantime, Virgin Money has a slightly higher rate of interest (on up to 25k). While you are waiting for chase, you could open an M Plus current account & linked saver.

I started an application today - having just upgraded my phone I now have a recent enough android os to allow installation of the app. I got as far as the condition that you have to have photo i/d. As I still have a paper driving licence and my passport has expired that counts me out!

There are now six other providers who equal or better Chase's offering so you've plenty to choose from, check out @soulsaver TOTP table on this thread.
