I've always taken the site's advice and booked an additional driver for a holiday hire car in advance to save a bigger bill at the airport. This year, none of the companies are letting me do this and when I've followed up with customer service they've stated you need to do it at the airport. Be interested to know if this is general experience or companies that are allowing it. It can lead to a big price difference. Thanks
