Do you mean add support at the sink end? What's supporting it now? You could put a batten on the end wall next to the sink if there isn't one there already.

At the sink end there is a batton. It needs supporting in the middle

    Ok, thanks.
You will have to look after it, IE if kicked out of the way etc, put back in place.

Get a chrome leg then come in caring diameters. fix a slot fixing under the worktop and one on the floor. Be warned they are not very strong especially if not at the vertical position but a lot, lot better than nothing.

I'm not sure you would need any more support if it's already got support on three sides.  We have a 1.2 metre breakfast bar, with nothing other than battens keeping it up.   If you really think something is necessary, how about a cantilevered bracket, on the left hand side of the sink cupboard?

So, I have 3 appliances in a row - washing machine, dryer and water softener (60cm, 60cm, 30cm;wide). The wall behind is 153 cm. So that is 3 cms extra for support only.

Ah, I now see the LH unit is shallower depth.

Ok, after the softener is fitted, what is the EXACT MAX width you will have available for the two appliances - that's between the side of that stepped-out wall, and the unit that's holding the softener?
And what is the side of that stepped-out wall made of - the part hidden below worktop level? Is it plasterboard? Or is it plaster on brick?
And what is the gap between the appliance tops and the worktop underside?

Is the water softener going inside an actual 'unit' - ie will that RH under-sink gap ultimately have a LH side panel?

OP can you mark up a photo looking straight at the appliances of what you want to do so its clear please?

In our old kitchen (not installed by us) we had 2 appliances with no support in between and it wasn't supported behind either!

Also what was the outcome of each corner of worktop in the end? Did you find a solution?

I am getting in a new tradesmen who was recommended. He is going to remove the edging strip at the curved corner and put a continuous strip from near edge to just after the curve. He says it's a simple enough job if you know what you are doing... Waiting for them to find time for me...
