Could anyone tell me what connection plugs are on each end of the cable that connects my EE Router to my open reach NTL5 master socket? My guess is both RJ11.
Need to know as need to buy a 5mtr cable.
Thanks for reading .

I've been using a 15 m extension with RJ11 plugs on both ends for donkeys years, firstly with an ADSL connection and more recently a VDSL/FTTC service.
It cost me a fiver from Amazon and does not add any extra attenuation as compared to using a 1 m ISP supplied cable directly at the master socket.
As for damage to pins in the socket, something that has remained connected for over 10 years and only been removed once for fault finding purposes is hardly going to be an issue.0 -
