EasyJet canceled.

hello. New to this so sorry if I’m doing something wrong.
We booked a 10 night holiday with TUI to Gran Canaria from 06/06/22. We were given flights with easyJet.
Our flight on 06/06 was cancelled after it had been delayed for 3 hours already. I managed to eventually rebook for the following day but we were left stranded with app frozen and no one to help. Long story short, I have claimed for the cancellation, overnight accommodation and the taxi fares to get us there and back. No response from easyJet despite the 24 hour promise. Have looked further today and all 3 claims have been rejected, no e mails received with reasons despite what is says.
Have tried phoning today but have been put through to 2 foreign call centres and then just left on hold.
Any advice as to where I go next please? TUI don’t want to know, even though our contract was with them originally. Thank you.

I think you need to revisit your EasyJet claims. You can always resubmit.

For the cancellation, is the delay/cancellation one that allows for EU261UK261 compensation?  Are you using the correct original flight number for the original date of travel?  This is one claim.

For expenses a second claim.  Be ready with scans for receipts.  Are expenses from the cancellation 'reasonable'.  They won't for example pay out for your original transport to the airport for your original (cancelled) flight but should pay out for a reasonable taxi to/from your airport hotel if other transportation was not available.

Keep at them. I've had expense claims rejected / resubmitted / rejected / complained and eventually paid. They're just giving you the run-around hoping you'll give up. My flight was cancelled at the gate at Prague airport. Leaving us stranded for 3 days and having to arrange our own flights home, hotel, meals etc..
I've been at it for the past 2 months. They've eventually paid £350 of claims, but I still have a further £600 awaiting resolution.
