Updating photo driving license

In my region those 'participating' Post Offices are 14 miles away and it's not always the easier option.born_again said:
Go to one of the post offices where you can renew.sevenhills said:I have attempted to update my phone license, but it kept failing.
My details don't match. My driving licence does not include my middle name. But my passport does.
Do I just apply for a new license, my license is clean.
No need for passport. They take DL details, new photo while you are there & send it off. Should get it back within a week. This even worked during covid lockdowns.
Recently i've had to renew my photo license and did it by standard post as i don't have a passport to participate in the immediate Post Office method.
Collect the relevant form from the P O, obtain a photo booth picture, send a cheque (or money order) and send it off - it's returned within a couple of weeks.0
