You can download the manual. Here, for example:
https://docplayer.net/211725797-Instruction-manual-cm-m202gsf-wh.html
Curiously, while the manual is full of homely wisdom (switch it off if smoke is emitted, for example), there is no mention of how to open the door.
I'm sure @Sandtree is right, by the way, but it's not all that obvious.
No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0 -
Might be just me but normally the door open control, if if it isn't a handle, is usually a button below the control panel. There's only so many places it can go and its silly to put it on the top, the side or the bottom, so as most units are full height doors, it can only go bottom right, surely?Although I did notice something interesting in the linked manual above - "It is forbidden to run the unit without any food inside. It is very dangerous." Well yes it is dangerous because the process will damage the magnetron which generates the waves (effectively a self fulfilling prophecy), I would argue it's not exactly "forbidden" to do that. After all PC Plod isn't going to come round and arrest you for it, and if you want to damage your own unit, that's up to you

There's some poor chap in an office in China trying to translate all the instructions into 37 different languages, he can't be perfect all of the time! Which is why lots of stuff come with lots of pretty pictures but no words - then every consumer in every country fluent in every language can all be equally confused.Neil_Jones said:Might be just me but normally the door open control, if if it isn't a handle, is usually a button below the control panel. Very Good, I was going to say something along the lines of copy and paste into Google Translate, as its always painfully obvious when that's been done. That and things like "wearing of this garment does not allow you to fly".
