@Doom_and_Gloom - marvellous mushrooms, can you tell me which kit you got please as I'd like to try my hand at growing some too.
Yesterday was an A&C delivery and we also did a L!do shop. £45 spent between them; £14 was on WGaC toilet roll so that is enough for around 3 months.

So this morning I went to Iceland . 400 tetley tea bags for £5.00 which I thought was good and with the other 240 that we have just opened they should keep us going for at least 4-5 months. Spent £20.12 after 2.00 on offers and £2.24 discount for over 60’s on Tuesdays had been taken off. That’s all of the big shopping done for 2 weeks now until Grandsons come. Getting excited as I think I am going to make target for once.I am definitely shopping in lots of different places this month. Did someone say that it’s called being a “shopping tart?” 😂 oh and I forgot, I had £1.50 refund from Morrisons.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Good afternoon one and all. I'm off to a flying start today with a delivery this morning that came to £120.73 and a further £1.93 in Tesco and £14.01 in Aldi on bits I either forgot or wanted to find cheaper. We've got family staying over the weekend so it includes food to make picnic lunches to take out as well as evening meals and some nice beers to enjoy in the (hopefully) sunshine.
£136.67/£300 so far.8 -
£4.57 today on flour, baking powder and baking soda.
I decided to make some chocolate banana muffins and a cinnamon swirl banana bread as we still had about 15 bananas left from our olio collection last week. Annoyingly I sorted out the pantry a few weeks ago and got rid of a lot of out of date baking supplies, so needed to stock up on those. Pleased that the bananas will not be going to waste. I'll be freezing most of the muffins and the banana bread for future breakfasts and snacks. Hopefully stocking up means I can do a bit more baking as well, as it was something I used to really enjoy before my MH got in the way.
We have spent £114.85/230.9 -
Spent £8.27 in Mr S on an orange, 2 loose potatoes, 2 x tofu at £1.75 each, ground coriander, coffee beans, bread. Total now £50.10/£145.7
