Bathroom ceiling same colour as walls?

Hi
I’ll soon be painting my bathroom (2.7 x 1.7) with a light Dulux Egyptian Cotton soft sheen bathroom paint. The newly plastered walls have a couple of white mist coats applied.
I have some Zinsser Gardz sealer that I’ll apply before the Dulux but not sure if the ceiling is better in white like the other rooms.
I suppose the paint is quite light anyway.
Any help appreciated.

I would opt for white, but if you don't like it you can always paint over.

Egyptian cotton is darker than you think.
I've used Jasmine white bathroom paint in our en-suite on the walls and ceiling - no messing about 'cutting in' in a confined space.1 -
Go for white ceiling.1

Yes, difficult to tell just from the chart.
I've done my lounge in Almond White which is really light so can get some idea.
I don’t want too light for the bathroom as I quite like the white ceramic units and bath to contrast with the wall colour.

Can you get some little sample pots to try?1 -
It'll be absolutely fine!Just go ahead and do it and if you think it looks terrible then you still only need to cut in once even if you overpaint it.You will like, you won't need to overpaint it and you'll save on a tub of white. We do it all the time - I had resistance initially because 'this is the way everyone does it' but we're 12 years down the line and not one person has commented when a neutral colour goes across the ceiling too; even a pure brilliant white will appear as five different shades on four walls and a ceiling. No one will even notice but the room will have that added bit of warmth. If it's good enough for Farrow & Ball and all of their design guides, it's good enough for you.
Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

I can certainly change the Egyptian Cotton.
Apart from natural light from the bathroom window, there’s no other as the landing has no window.
Maybe something in between Almond White and EC. Quite like a grey/beige tint rather than cream or magnolia.

No coving like there is in the lounge.0 -
Absolutely fine as long it is n't too dark. Recently did this with a cappuccino-ish bathroom paint. I wasn't sure beforehand, but it looks absolutely fine.1

let the wall or ceiling paint dry first and then steady hand the wall/ceiling.
NB. I guess the tape needs time and skill putting it up but worth considering IMHO.
