Currys bundle deals ripoff

Its madness. I might return it and rebuy it at the lower price. I was going to buy another for my mam so they can keep in touch as both in separate care homes. But won't be buying from Curry's again as although it states and might be considered another deal, it's the same deal that they have reduced and I think they know this and are trying to wriggle out of it.
If this was say John Lewis, they would have sorted straight away. Lesson learnt I would thinkWhat makes you believe you can return it? It doesn't appear to have been a remote purchase, and if that is the case, there is no right to return unless it is faulty. You were happy with the price you paid at the time, so, if the price had increased within 7 days would you have happily paid Currys the new increased price? My advice is always - once you have purchased any item, stop checking the price. It only leads to disappointment.

That is a comparison between Currys and competitors.diystarter7 said:
A bit sly but I think this may be it from your linkjon81uk said:On the product page, you should see a ‘Price promise’ link just below below the 'Add to basket' button.
If available, you should see a comparison between Currys and our competitors’ product and delivery prices. If you can’t see it, the product may only be available at Currys.
The OP is complaining that Currys have dropped the price and aren't returning the difference.
Its not that John Lewis was selling it cheaper on the same day the OP bought the item, its that Currys is selling it cheaper a few days later.
I don't beleive Currys offer price adjustments.
Costco is one of a few places that do, if the price goes down within 28 days then Costco do refund.
But Currys don't appear to refund if they lower their price, only if a competitor was cheaper.1 -
Do your research but my opinion dont buy the bundle, get a cover/case from ebay.0

Currys are notorious for behaving this way. Since I had a similar incident about 8 years ago, I have avoided Currys ever since. I always now go elsewhere, even if the Currys price is better. An awful company to deal with. Their store managers are jobsworths. My advice is to never buy anything from Currys.2

Very very few retailers give a refund if the item you’ve bought goes on sale after purchase.1 -
Currys have a return policy for in store, if the items aren’t opened/used they can be returned within 21 days (may vary for phones with a contract), as they offer the policy they have to abide by it so OP would have the right of return if they meet the terms.TELLIT01 said:abri2801 said:So really what we are saying is don't buy bundles as if I have bought separately I would be able to price match the tablet alone and have been refunded £50.
