Confused with Chase debit card

We are in Turkey. I put £200 in Chase back in the uk. I drew out 2000TL this morning and they charged me £103. Exchange rate is £93 so how is this better than using my Halifax Clarity card to get cash out? Thanks

Does the £103 perhaps include an unavoidable charge for using the ATM (which would apply to Clarity too)?
Are you sourcing your exchange rate from the same place that Chase uses, at exactly the same time?0 -
Who charged you, Chase or the ATM..?What do you mean by 'Exchange rate is £93'..?

Thanksim gonna guess the issue is twofold.1. the atm issued a charge for withdrawing money which is quite normal2. you chose the option to allow the atm owner to convert the money for you rather than chase, it would have asked you when you withdrew the cashLive each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0
