Got my pension and my bus pass, I'm officially old
Five pounds off at a game of football
Cheap fish'n'chips on a Thursday lunch-time
Cinema ticket for just three quid with a
Free cup of coffee and a rich tea biscuit
Two pounds off a hair cut 'cos
I'm officially old!

I went to not my usual barber last week 4 days before my 60th. Whilst waiting I gazed at the price list. Gents £13.50, Over 65's £11.50.
After, he said "that'll be £11.50 please sir"
I was not amused !!!! even my best mickey taking mates say I don't look 60.
I politely informed him I was not yet 60 and gave him 15 quid !!!!

just to say try not to mislay / lose the bus pass: £10 to replace by my local authority!
Just mislaid mine: it has gone on a spending spree with my Superdrug card!!
Murphy's law: will order a replacement and the original will leap out at me.......Being polite and pleasant doesn't cost anything!
