Extensions have made my hair fall out.

I had fine hair with a patch of alopecia at the crown for 20+ years. Went to a "hair loss specialist'" who put in lots of extensions, about 6 weeks later most of my hair has fallen out. I am devastated. She is saying it's "nothing to do with the extensions' which it clearly is. What can I do????

I am so sorry to hear that. I don't think there is anything you can do other than get them removed if you haven't already.,I've got quite severe alopoecia and was always advised to steer clear of extensions as they'd stress the existing hair too much - it's not the glue/attachment but generally the stress of them pulling on your already weakened hair/roots.
