Easyjet flight cancelled and trip cut short for alternative flight

Our outbound flight was at 5:55 Thursday am. Easyjet sent an email at 10pm Wednesday evening (that was not received due to being in bed, we had an early start) to confirm our return flight scheduled for the Sunday had been cancelled and our new flight was now Saturday afternoon. As we were put on another flight can we claim compensation? Bearing in mind a 3 night trip became a 2 night trip and we lost out on a afternoon/night in a hotel and missed a pre booked boat trip we had planned for the Saturday afternoon. We had also paid for the car park, so didn't use all the booked days Any guidance would be appreciated. We also had to rearrange airport transfers as these had not been changed. ( this was a package trip booked though Easyjet)

As it was a package you would be entitled to claim from Easyjet Holidays a partial refund for a significant change to your holiday - one less day at your hotel .This is in their T&Cs and not the flight cancellation regulations .

6.2. In the unlikely event that we have to make a significant change to your Package, we will tell you as soon as reasonably possible. You will then have the option to:
(a) Accept the proposed change. If this results in a Package of lower quality or cost, you may be entitled to a price reduction in accordance with paragraph 8 below;…
You may also be entitled to compensation for losses suffered. This is not the same as the flight delay regulations - make a complaint quoting the above section of the T&Cs and providing receipts that prove the amount of your losses ( boat trip etc )1
