Screen unlocks via either fingerprint, code or face. None of which are being done in my pocket.

I also always lock mine before putting it in my pocket.  I'm guessing the problem is caused by pressure on the Medical ID icon.  My phone doesn't have a full case, just a rubberised cover.

Samsung mobiles unlocking in pockets seems to be an issue.
A few potential fixes below and check for trusted devices (smart watch, fitness tracker) and trusted locations, and app shortcuts on lock screen (e.g a shortcut to messages)
