i find the cheepest frozen roast pots then drizzle a little veg oil and they crisp up a treat in an oven (same goes for oven chips)Finally debt free, all thanks to this site and all the posters:j0

Well I have AB parsnips on offer @ £1 in Tesco & the Tesco roasties, £1.50 to sample today so I'll let you know how they fare later.0

I am voting for Asda ES potatoes and parsnips - both excellent and could be home made. It's true that Delia's recipes are fab, but on Christmas day I feel it is time to be together, not basting and oven watching :rotfl:.
Plus the roasted roots recipe works really well, but you have to cut the veg into specific sizes as they all cook at different rates.
