Virgin Media

I cancelled my account with Virgin Media in December 2021. They told me all would be cancelled by 31st January 2022. My last payment would be February 2022. They asked that I send the equipment back , which i did and have receipts for. All gone by 02/02/22. Tivo box and Hub.
I kept getting bills off them, would contact them and explain that my account was closed, I even raised complaints to them, Then I find out they cancelled my Tivo not my broadband. I explained I don't use their broadband I am now on BT. I don't have a Hub so cannot access their broadband. I have now been told if I pay £163 They will cancel the account. I keep going around in circles. I've raised it with my local MP but have not had any guidance as yet . As a pensioner I feel that they are taking advantage. I feel I have done all I can , so if anyone has any advice please share.

I would post this information on the Virgin Media Community forum, there appear to be people on there who will look into your account issues for you. Better than phoning Virgin about it.0

Being a pensioner makes absolutely no difference to what is happening, there is no "age card" to play.
Write to them advising of their mistake in not fully cancelling the account.0
