I ended up making a formal complaint to Monese about the whole account situation. I knew it would ultimately come to nothing but I was feeling quite belligerent on the day in question so i sent it in.
I've just had a response rejecting and closing the complaint that also informed me that it would be their FINAL say on the matter as well
The closest I actually got to an explanation was this ..
Unfortunately, they've been unable to gather enough information to comply with the FCA: Financial Conduct Authority regulations.
Does anyone have any clues as to what this might mean ?. It's certainly not life or death urgent or anything like that as I've now got an account with Chase with all of my payments set up and working properly, but I suppose there's still that element of me that would like to know. Thanks.0 -
