can you advise how you do that with either Amex or MasterCard.
So in the OP's case they would need to prove what they paid for. Invoice etc. Then prove what they received. Pics invoice etc.
But again knowing how the car hire co's deal with chargebacks. They never contest. Just pass them on to team to chase the funds owed.Life in the slow lane0 -

They tend to take a fairly binary approach and so will refund what you say was the price for one of the items or all of it etc, what they dont tend to want to get involved in is where you say you paid £300 for an item but it had some problems so please chargeback for £100 to represent what'll cost me to fix it etc.
there is no place online to specify the amount you want refunded.
I specified what I wanted in a letter (it was a ticket “insurance”).
the chargeback was denied because the retailer said the tickets (a different line item) had already been refunded.
perhaps newDay aren’t very good, but there was no place to specify it on the NewDay interface and trying to get one item charged back didn’t work with them.
amex customer service is better usually.0 -

A debt collector can only report if the original agreement allows for reporting to the CRAs. To do so without your agreement would be a breach of the Data Protection Act.
Either your agreement with whoever you are referring to has this provision, or they're breaking the law.0 -
