Good morning, I would be grateful for some guidance please.my elderly mother had a boiler fitted by an unregistered engineer. He showed her an old card. Gassafe shut the boiler down as it was unsafe. Op, I would look at this 2 ways:
1. The fees your mum paid, I would sadly write them off as irrecoverable.
2. I would however report them to trading standards/gas safe. Take screen shots of their adverts / website as the next victim could loose more than just money.
Should you get any money back then see that as a nice bonus.
